HIYA Nigeria

HIYA Nigeria is an information and awareness platform dedicated to promoting Nigerian indigenous languages and cultural values. Developed by Kastech, the platform provides an interactive digital presence for the organization, showcasing its initiatives, projects, and media content through a modern, dynamic website experience.

The Challenge

Before this project, HIYA Nigeria relied on limited digital tools that could not effectively communicate its mission or engage its growing audience. The organization needed a scalable, secure, and visually appealing platform to present its programs, media updates, and language initiatives in one centralized hub. The main challenges included the need for an easy-to-manage content system, multilingual compatibility, social media integration, and a seamless registration feature for members and contributors. Additionally, the platform had to support video backgrounds, responsive layouts, and consistent uptime to accommodate large traffic during campaigns and events.

What did Kastech do

Kastech designed and developed the HIYA Nigeria Website and Web Application using the KAS Framework v2.50 combined with WordPress 4.8 (Evans). Key implementations include:
